ラグビーの代表選手資格について驚いたことがあります。
I was surprised at the news about who is qualified for a member of a national rugby team.
それは、外国籍の選手でも、3年以上住んでいれば、
Foreigners can be selected as a member of the national rugby team as long as they live in the country for 3 years or more.
因みに、ラグビーワールドカップ2011の日本代表メンバー30名の内、10名は海外出身です。
5名は帰化して日本国籍を取得していますが、
FYI, 10 players from abroad are selected as a member of Japanese national rugby team for Rugby World Cup 2011.
5 out of 10 players have already gotten Japanese nationality and the other 5 players are foreigners.
