芸者遊び体験してきました！

I tried entertaining myself at geisha parties:)

本来は男性の遊びなので老舗の料亭は男子トイレしかなかったりするという話も聞きますが、今では女性も楽しめます。

It is said that there is toilet only for men at long-established Japanese restaurant because geisha parties is the entertainment for men. But these days women can enjoy geisha parties as well.

普段はいろどりどりの着物だが、正月なので黒紋付に簪に稲穂を髪飾りにしていました。やっぱり着物っていいですねー。

The geishas I met wore black kimonos with crests.

芸者というだけあって踊って、演奏して、ゲームをして、トークも面白いー。

They dance well, play Japanese instruments well, and entertain their guests and their talk is interesting.

最高のエンターテイナーだなぁって感じました。

They are best entertainers!!

 

そしてこのかたはなんと日本で唯一の女形芸者（男）

えいたろうさんと言う男性です。

とてもエネルギッシュなこの方は、日本の伝統芸能である芸者を存続させるべく、呼んでくれるならマカオにもいくんですって。

To my surprise, the geisha in the picture below (right side) is a man!!
His name is Eitaro Matumoto. Very beautiful.
