先日サクラカフェで行われた小さなフレンドシップパーティー(交流会)、来てくれた人たちの国籍の

バラバラさがすごくて驚きました。まるで何かの国際会議のようなかんじ。

A few days ago, a small friendship party was held at Sakura Cafe with people whose nationalities

varied a lot. a lot. a lot. It was like some sort of an international conference.

パーティーが始まった時間には10人の人がいました。We had 10 people at the very beginning of the party.

国籍を尋ねてみると。。。 Their nationalities were... Germany (ドイツ), Spain (スペイン), 

Italy (イタリア), the Netherlands (オランダ), Norway (ノルウェー), Austria (オーストリア), 

Australia (オーストラリア), Ghana (ガーナ), UK (イギリス), and Japan.. me! (日本、わたしです。）

その後しばらくして加わったのは。。。 Later, others joined us. Portugal (ポルトガル), US (アメリカ）,

Hong Kong and more. （あとはもう把握できてません。。）

だんだん人が増えて、日本の人も来てくれて、最後には30人くらいの輪になっていました。

More and more people including Japanese came to join us and we ended up as a party of about 30 people.

こういう時の共通語ってやっぱり英語なんですねえ。みなさん、色んなアクセントの英語でおしゃべりしていました。

Most of the people there were talking in English, which was obviously the shared language, with different accents.

次は何カ国の人が集まるでしょうか。ギネスに挑戦！なんてするには何カ国の人が必要なんだろ？

Next time, why don't we break the Guinness record? Haha, how many nationalities would we need then?
