「世界のB級グルメ特集」というコーナーでサクラカフェ池袋を紹介して下さるそうで。

を中心に、熱心にご取材頂きました。写真撮影とインタビューはもちろんですが、
なんとそのメニューのグラム数まで量るという念の入れよう！恐れ入りました！

「B級グルメ」って人によっては聞こえ方がアレですが、サクラカフェ的にはうれしい取材です。
東京で、500円以下で、世界の庶民的かつ珍しいメニューを提供しているお店、ということで
見つけて頂いたそうです。「世界のおつまみシリーズ」に力を入れてる私は、大歓迎！

日経トレンディネットさん、掲載は1月の予定とのこと。楽しみです♪

輸入ビールのリクエストをサクラカフェ池袋にどうぞ！

サクラカフェのビッグな冷蔵庫。輸入ビールが所狭しと並んでいます。
その数、約60種。「約」というのは何故かというと、オープンの時は60種
だったけど、その後いろいろ増やしてる内にもう分かんなくなっちゃったから。。。

もう隙間はないと思われたこの冷蔵庫氏ですが、敏腕スタッフささこが改めて
並べ直してみたところ、後３?４種類は入れられそうな隙間が出現！

なので、リクエスト募集します！サクラカフェで飲みたい輸入ビールを教えて下さい。
リクエストの多かったものをラインナップに加えたいと思いまーす ^ ^

ちなみに今もうあるビールたちはこちらに（だいたい）載ってます。

Sakura Cafe Ikebukuro now has appox. 60 kinds of imported beers.
It's so much fun to spend time in front of the big fridge full of beers, 
wondering which one to drink for now and next.

Today, we just noticed that there is still a little more space in the fridge!
The space is small but I believe we can add 3 or 4 more beers.

So, now... your requests are welcomed!

みなさん、「旅」は好きですか？？私は大好きです！今まで行ったことがあるのは。。。
メキシコ、アメリカ、フランス、イタリア、スペイン、ドイツ、チェコ、インドネシア、韓国、ベトナムです。
仕事柄、周りに旅好きが多いです。すごい人だと5大陸60カ国以上行った人とか。。すごい！

Hi everyone, how are you? Do you guys like traveling? I do like it!
So far, I've been to Mexico, US, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Czech Rep. Indonesia, South Korea and Viet Nam.
Working at Sakura Hotel & Cafe gives me a chance to meet many people who like traveling 
like me and have been to much more countries. 
One of my co-workers has been to more than 60 countires on 5 continents. Wow!

サクラカフェにご来店して下さるお客様も旅好きが多いようで、よく昔の旅行話で盛り上がったり、
ガイドブック片手にこれから行く旅行の計画を立てていたり。とても楽しそう。

Sakura Cafe is often visited by those people who love traveling. They enjoy talking about their past travel
experiences or about their future plans to travel abroad. Looks fun!

そこで、サクラカフェでは来月より新企画　『トラベラーズ・ナイト』を開催したいと思います。
Sakrua Cafe Ikebukuro will hold a new event from next month, named "Travelers' Night"!

毎月一つの国を特集し、その国に行ったことのある人や行ってみたい人、もちろんこれをきっかけに
興味を持った人、などなどたくさんの旅人に集まって頂き、その国のフードとドリンクを楽しみながら交流を広げて頂ければと思います。

Every month, the party features one country and invites people who have been to or will go to or want to go to the country. 
Please enjoy the country's special food and drinks and broaden the networks of your interests.


サクラカフェならではですが、その国の人とも出会えるのが特徴ですね。
第一弾は1月に「フランス」を予定しています。フランス人ゲストは毎月上位3位には入るほど多いですから、たくさん参加してくれることでしょう。
将来フランスに旅行した際にまた向こうで会おうね、とかそういう出会い、素敵じゃないですか！？

The first one we are planning on is FRANCE!! It is for one of the January events.
If you are from France and happen to be in Tokyo next month, why don't you come to this "Travelers' Night"
and meet people who are interested in your country. You will be the representative of your nation!

日本の人も飲むの好きだねー、とこの前外国人ゲストから言われちゃいました。

はい、街はすっかり忘年会シーズン真っ盛りです。飲みすぎちゃったりしてませんか？

People like drinking. Japanese people are not an exception. We do like parties.
All around year, we have seasonal occasions/parties to have a drink with friends,
co-workers, sport team mates, or even people who you just met on the day...

忘年会が終わったら次はもちろん、新年会！

After we enjoyed Bo-Nen-Kai (year-end parties), the next party will be SHIN-NEN-KAI (new-year parties).

欧米の人たちの新年ムードって、元日のほんの一日で終わってしまうんですよね。
それに比べて日本はお正月休みも長いし、1月中は「明けましておめでとう」の挨拶をよく使いますね。

I've heard that you celebrate New Year's only on January 1st and go back to work on the 2nd.
Japanese people usually have a little longer New Year's break and the city is filled with 
"Happy New Year" atmosphere. We say "Akemashite omedetou =Happy New Year" a lot in January.

来月から始まる新イベントのお知らせです。Here's some news about our upcoming event!
International Party "FIESTA"! 　（国際交流パーティー「FIESTA」）目は2011年1月8日（土）19時?21時の開催です。
On Saturday, January 8th 2011, from 19:00 to 21:00, we will hold the first one.

数ある国際交流パーティーの中でも、サクラカフェのはホントにホントに多国籍になるんです、いつも。
なぜならサクラカフェの入っているサクラホテルというホテルには、毎日30カ国くらいの人が泊まっているから。
さらには、系列のサクラハウスには、2,000人以上の外国籍の方が住んでいらっしゃるんです。

Among many international parties in Tokyo, one of the most international ones are ours at Sakura Cafe.
It's simply because Sakura Hotel accommodates people from at least 30 countries every night.
More over, there are more than 2,000 people from all over the world living in our monthly guest houses.

色々な国の人たちが、ここ東京で集う。帰国してもずっと続く一生ものの友人を得る。素敵ですよね。

期待の新人現る！です。サクラホテル＆サクラカフェに今日から入りました。
韓国人のミソルちゃんです（写真右）。初日の今日はちょっと緊張気味？

We have welcomed a new staff member to Sakura Hotel & Sakura Cafe Ikebukuro.
She is Misol from South Korea (right on the photo).

左の彼女は誰でしょう？サクラグループで5年活躍した韓国人スタッフ、ウンジョンです。
彼女はもうすぐ赤ちゃんが生まれるので、来月から産休に入ります?。しばしのお別れ ><;

Who is the lady on the left? She is Eunjung also from South Korea.
She has worked at Sakura Group for 5 years and will go on maternity leave soon.

韓国からのお客様はサクラホテル、サクラカフェ共、毎日とても多いので、彼女たちの活躍は超重要！

There are a large number of Korean guests coming to Sakura Hotel & Sakura Cafe everyday.
Korean staff are essential for our hotel these days.

ミソルちゃん、頑張って下さいね♪　ウンジョン、元気な子を産んで一年後また帰ってきてね♪

早いものでもう12月、すっかり街中クリスマスのイルミネーションでいっぱいになりましたね。
みなさんは今年のクリスマス、どう過ごしますか？
Hello everyone, it's already December. The city is getting filled with Christmas decoration.
How are you going to spend Christmas this year?

12月23日（祝）午後6時から、サクラカフェでクリスマスパーティーが開かれます。
We will have a Christmas Party from 18:00 on December 23rd.

その名も名付けて「The Candle Night (キャンドルナイト)」。
